They only sold over 10 million after remakes, that doesn't count in my book.

If we're just talking original releases, they sold around 8 million each, which is obviously a huge failure because it's not even 20% of GTA V's sales (GTA V being the standard for what is considered a commercially successful game).

If GTAV is the standard for "commercially successful game" - practically everything else is a commercial failure.

A huge chunk of GTAV's sales are the PS4/X1/PC version. Are you going to tell me those sales don't count? Because those are remakes too.
