I refuse to jump to conclusions though and I also don't doubt the principles of freedom, democracy and equality. No human being is illegal and terrorists will never ever scare me one bit. I won't do them that favour, because it's exactly what they want to achieve, to spread hate and fear. That's all I will say about this matter. No matter who did this, we should stand above it and demonstrate strength instead of fear. |
And here is the problem with liberal thinking. You can say 'no fear' all you want - but thrust into the situation, you better believe you'll experience fear and you'll RUN! And with attacks on the rise (the media doesn't come close to reporting all newsworthy events), your chances of being a victim only go up.
Guess who doesn't care about your freedom or democracy? I'll give you a hint. He just blew himself up at an Ariana Grande concert late last night
