Seeing as how they got mulched with Thomas, I don't think his presence or absence will make a difference unless the Cavs don't play like they mean it again.  And even when the Cavs do that the Celtics have to be at their absolute best to win.

Now if Kawhli Leonard had made it back in Game 3, the WCF could have been interesting but he didn't so even if he shows up at 4 it would only delay the inevitable.

It will make a difference. I think before the series started, thomas thought they cant beat the cavs but if the Celtics somehow wins game 4, being 2-2, thomas will know they in with a massive chance and have his confidence up and i bet the team would love to have him back and that will only boost their confidence as well. Without thomas, Celtics wouldnt have made it this far. Celtics is a better team with thomas.

I'm not saying they aren't a better team with him than without.  I'm saying the Cavs are out of their league.  They barely won this game, the game where Lebron scored 11 points and the best 3 point shooting team in the league couldn't hit the broad side of a barn for the better part of two quarters.  If the Cavs play like the Cavs, there's no chance for Boston in this series.  And if they play like the PLAYOFF Cavs, it's going to get uggly again.
