Usually, I am not so affected by the loss of a celebrity. I know how that sounds, but I acknowledge that perceived tragedy is often a byproduct of proximity. Chris Cornell, however, was a seemingly brutal loss to me. He was my favorite singer of all time, and listening to his music (in hindsight of his suicide) makes the loss all the more poignant. Instead of being maudlin and grieving, I'd like to celebrate the man's life and ask what your favorite Cornell song is? Here's mine:
