I don't believe this survey at all. Sure my Mom "owned" a NES and a SNES and a PS1, but she never once touched it...
The primary gamer was a 0-12 year old, ie me. But according to this survey, they don't exist. Consoles and games bought with birthday money, I count as my own purchase as I do now that I am older. Otherwise the ownership would be multiple people in various proportions...
And then the audacity to claim 33 is average age of gamer, and most gamers are 25-44 years old when a significant proportion is probably just parents that don't play.
