I used to take a notebook, but I wouldn't ever use it. And tbh I think it kind of looks better not to have one at all than just to have a blank one

Yeah I used to bring a notebook and filled it up. Problem is I would forget everything during the lecture, because I was just copying it down.  Now I just try to pay attention and writing nothing, works much better for me.

I had the same prof for my first and last class of the day, so it would be awkward to skip one and not the other. My last 3 classes were all in a row in the middle of the day, so I really had no reason to skip any of them if I went. Therefore none got skipped.
