Yeah I feel like humor can really help, even if it is just being sarcastic. I was a little too serious at the start, I felt like multiple people reached out to me and I didn't take intiative. I tried to compensate near the end, but it was clearly over. I learn little by little at least. I care more about developing social skills then my classes atm because I have light schedule and I do well anyways.

Constant problem though is seeming too serious. I feel too many people are intimidated for multiple reasons.

Why'd they be intimidated?

I don't really know, I can only make guesses.

I personally am confident and think I am attractive. However someone might think the same, but then I lack any reasonable response. So then they end up being intimidated or think I am arrogant/narcissistic. Likewise with classes, I attempt to memorize everything. People near me notice  that I rarely take notes. When we talk about HW, exams, papers, etc. I sometimes let slip how long I legitimately spend on the assignment, only to get a bewildered response like "Wow, I spent twice as much time as you on that..." And possibly other small things like too serious clothing, lack of smartphone (so I read a book), always come to class and on time. Also I lack Social Media, so maybe people wanted to friend me only to find nothing haha.

Might be overthinking though.
