Running games at a higher resolution with a change in the lighting (Probably forced due to a change in GPU's.) is not a remaster.
The didn't even fix/improve the texture filtering for christ sake.
They needed to overhaul the textures, take the lighting ever farther, implement decent shadowing, anti-aliasing and particle effects. Then we could call it a remaster.

Also. Don't forget they denied Halo 2: Anniversary untill that was revealed.
