Don't know why, but i think that we could hear this year at sony's e3 some suprises from japan developers. Many are talking about sucker punch's ip could be one of the unannouced games, but don't let us jforget about the developer of japan, where i think there could be some games in work, that could be important enough for an e3 announcement...first of all what shuhei yoshida said...

Yoshida means all games. Cygames arent debuting anything a E3. MediaVision aint working on WA PS4.

That said, I think DMC5 could maybe be announced and first footage for RE2 re. Shenmue HD Collection from SEGA I think is fairly comfortable an announcement (if not before the event) and Dissidia PS4 port finaly detailed a bit more. And From Software delivers something.

Otherwise, I expect everything else from Japan to be known quantities. More FF7 most likely, probably NN2 if it is really this year (early next year). Especially from Sony: unless SCEJ are somehow invovled in a PSBR sequel, I am not sure what else they would have ready to debut, at least on a large scale.

While i think Deep Down reintroduction could benefit at E3, I can see SCEJ (who are co developing the title) possibly pushing for TGS to push the PS4 more in Asia.

Either way, I think Japan influence could be strong, but not with more chewable quantities and not dreams. I will gladly be wrong though. But DMC5, FF7 and Re2 footage would be enough for me from Japan.

Maybe i'm hoping for to much, but the last years hasn't come much from japan (if we are talking about big games), they got some problems with the step to hd consoles, whit the start of ps3 in my opinion. Lately they are doing better, gravity rush 2 was a good sign, but still not that big project i was hoping for, but 2 and a half years ago allan becker were gone to japan studio for making them big again, so i'm still hoping for bigger projects, but i could be mistaken
