FF7 is probably the most popular JRPG of all time (outside of Pokemon) that fans had been demanding a remake for for years before it happened.

LoD is a game that only 1 Brazilian guy on VGC cares about.

So, I expect plenty of people thought the FF7 remake was possible before it was announced, the other one...

Played LoD myself, and i must say that it was a great game, where sony should give the ip a new chance
