343 Industries will have “a little something” at E3 2017, but it won’t be Halo 6

I'm well aware, and I personally wish they would make Halo 3 Anniversary. But it isn't happening, 343 has made that much clear:

Frank O'Connor a few months ago: “Absolutely not. We continue to work on Halo Wars 2 and future endeavors. There are no H3 anniversary plans at this time and the diminishing returns would make it a tricky proposition anyway.”

Brian Jarrard yesterday: “OMG Stop.  There is no Halo 3 anniversary.”

There was leaked footage of a Halo 3 Anniversary title screen last year, but I'm guessing it was faked considering 343 continually denies Halo 3 Anniversary is in the works. 

The "Diminishing Returns" statement isn't relevant to today though. There is a console called Scorpio that was fairly unknown when that statement was made.

Also. Denying things is a-typical for most companies, even when it is true.
Halo 2: Anniversary got denied as "Not happening" and then it happened.

So ask yourself this. Is 343i denying Halo 3 Anniversary evidence for anything? I say no based on precedents they have set in the past. Power is also not an issue with an incoming Scorpio that needs games to show it off.

Playing Halo 2 remastered felt like playing a new game. With the cinematics from Blur Studios, it seemed closer to Halo 4 than 3. 3 would fill in the gap and being that it was considered the best Halo ever, then this should be bigger news than Halo six quite frankly. 

Halo 2 Remastered was a remaster done right. Shame they didn't remaster all the Multiplayer maps though and it got soiled due to MCC issues, but that's life.
