The audience got it right, the jury people must have been drunk because the majority of juries handed out points for Austria. This is quite the opposite from last year when the juries were negative, but the audience positive. Germany having a bad result surprised me this year because the song was actually decent, unlike in previous years. Must be Europe's disdain for Germany's politics. I could complain that Portugal won, but when their biggest competition (Bulgaria) had a clearly worse song, then meh... |
