This thread is about Playtonic and nothing Playtonic has done makes me think they can do a DKC of the quality of Tropical Freeze, much less of the quality of the original trilogy.

Well, true, but they are yet to try anything really, Yooka Laylee is their only game yet - and while I think its a better game than people give it credit for - Its still nothing mindblowing and its the only game we can judge them for. So I dont think we should give such a big IP to a company thats yet to prove itself.
