That Sessions, who had to recuse himself of any involvement in the Russia investigations, was one of the people who suggested to fire the person investigating him for ties with Russia, is perhaps the most bizarre thing here when it comes to transparacy. What did they expect people would think about that?
Was Sessions desperate to get rid of Colmey immediately for some reason, to the point where he doesn't even care that it looks extremely suspicious? Or was it that Trump, not understanding this, insisted that Sessions gets involved?
Reports are saying that it was Trump who asked those two to draft up reasons to fire Comey.

I can't get my mind around it. You would have thought that Trump would have had everyone involved somehow connected and advising and trying to make this so it didn't look like a big pile of bull crap. That or he did and then someone Trump trusts got involved and told him that it would look like a completely coverup if he involved AG Sessions in anyway with the decision. Taking sessions out put Assistant Attourney General as the only untainted guy Trump could usw which wouldn't be nearly enough reason. The fact that AAG Rosenstein was involved at all makes me think that they added him to some how make the fact AG Sessions was used cleaner. Like both of them were on the same page so whatever Sessions said was good despite him being involved with this Russian fiasco.

To me, the fact that Trump burned Pence and all this people HAS to be seen by SOMEBODY as seriously messed up.
