Kwaad, stop fighting them trying to argue it's like a MMO. It's a MMO with avatars and everything Live has. The problem I have is everyone saying "this is similar to (fill in here)" and Sony just copies stuff. Get off it. All consoles are just copies of Ataris, SO WHAT. If you do something better, SO WHAT. If you combine everything the competition has and make it better, SO WHAT. That said, this is completely unique compared to anything anyone has done on a console thus far, because of all the elements combined. As for the "speed" of everything. Uh...I'm sure there will be a menu to, at worst, exit the world and then do everything with a menu as usual. At best, the menu comes up and you just pick what you want to do from within the world. Anyway, offering this for free is ridiculous. Microsoft is making $300,000,000 a year on Live with 6 million users. What I am wondering is what the PSP connection will do. I think this fits right in with the location free service promised where the PS3 will allow you to upload everything to this Home and then access it from the PSP I would assume. The PSP menu (again, this menu concept within the world...brilliant...or...common sense...but whatever) makes me think you'll be able to use the PSP to access the world. Anyway, very exciting news. That game should be a lot of fun as well.
