This is a real issue. OP is too young and that's why I understand his problems with tomatoes. Tomatoes used to taste great each time I bought them. Nowadays, 9 out 10 tomatoes suck. They lost their intense taste. http://www.livescience.com/57647-why-store-tomatoes-are-tasteless.html Humans ruined its taste! Organically grown cherry tomatoes are still great though. They taste great, 10 out 10!
How and where do you grow them? Can you grow them all year long? |
If hes from sweden then no not all year long.
They need mild weather, but not freezeing.
Tomato plants stop growing and produceing fruit, if they get below 8 degree's celcius.
So you need to grow them inside (your own house) and then plant them outsides into your green house, when the weather allows for it.
We do the same here, we grow our own tomatoes, and garlic too. Alot of herbs. Fresh basil, Rosmarin, Timian, Salvie, estragon ect.
And yes.... not all store bought tomatoes taste that great.
I think the spanish tomatoes we usually get here in stores are pretty decent though.
