Why just green peppers? Is it a colour thing? Are you fine with yellow or red peppers?

Fine, fine, I should have said bell peppers!  We just call them green peppers around here because that's what most people seem to use.  Honestly, though, red peppers are more acceptable in food because the taste isn't as bitter.  I don't exactly like red bell peppers but if they're cut up small in some type of dish then I barely notice them.  I notice the taste of green bell peppers no matter what.
