I never liked tomatoes by themselves and used to hate getting them on a burger. Now I can eat them with burger. Problem is that most tomatoes sold in USA are bland. I'm sure there are some better growing tomatoes somewhere out there (like my girl grows small tomatoes that have decent taste).
Everyone has different tastes and even my taste buds have changed over time. Back in the day I used to love spinach probably because I watched Popeye all the time. I started not liking spinach around same time I stopped watching Popeye. I can't stand spinach and avoid it.
Tomatoes belong with cantaloupe and melons as one of the worst tasting fruits ever! Such an inferior fruit that it deserves to be confused with a veggie.
