1- What competition did the Gameboy and the Gameboy Advance have? I asure you it was weaker competition than PSP (DS) and Vita (3DS).

2- The 3DS sold 65m so far. It's still selling well (actually up YoY) and will surely be over 70m when the fiscal year ends. They will still keep producing them, and will probably have some games coming out as well. 75m is a very doable number. That's in line with that the Gameboy Advance sold (83m) with less competition. So yeah, the 3DS is a success.

I never said it wasn't a success. I said compared to the other handhelds it's not a "massive success". People were predicting 100 million for the 3ds a few years back
