While Islam is a thing, these middle eastern countries will be costantly doomed to dictatorship and regressiveness.
Africa will one day out develop the middle east at this pace, if it isn't already. The middle east is stuck in the religious trap. 400 years of getting in the back of the bus wasn't enough yet, it seems.
