Indonesia is the highest scoring muslim majority country in the democracy index, but afaik it's been less than 20 years that the military stood idly by or participated when the terror organization Laskar Jihad forced conversions (Islam or death) on christian villages on the Maluku Islands

burning of churches still seems to be a pretty regular occurance aswell as denouncing people as "blasphemous" resulting in court trials or mob justice, but not that much is reported

Ah. Thanks for letting me know, I was hesitating to say "Albania" earlier, but now I'm pretty much going to say Albania. That said, I do have more contact with the more secular cities of both Malaysia and Indonesia, so that's one reason I think that way.
