" This Surface device will be running Windows 10 S, a new version of Windows that is focused on the education market. Windows 10 S can only run verified apps from Windows Store."

isnt that a issue?

The device is already poised to flop. They tried this with Windows rt...

Windows 10 S is nothing like RT. RT was designed for ARM CPU and could simply NOT run x86 and x64 applications.
Windows 10 S can be upgraded to Home or Pro and runs all of those applications if really needed which is actually doubtfull, for the market they are targeting, the need to run x86/x64 apps is not really criticial.

I think the computer is pretty slick actually.
