As far as I can see there has been a virus implanted to open a backdoor. Are you trying to say their Patreon was hacked?.

Yes, that's what the crack does. Remove the drm from the patreon build that requires a patreon ID and online connection to run at full speed. If not, it throttles down to run a lot slower and at least in an earlier build it wouldn't run Botw.
