A lot people like saying that the Switch is about 1/3 of an Xbox one in docked mode and about 3.5 times a Wii U in docked mode. Portable mode is around 1.5 times a Wii U. But these of course are rough estimates and take into account that newer technology tends to run more efficient than older technology. A long with the fact that a NVidea Flop is historically better than a AMD flop, but we don't know if thats true on the switch.

We don't have a great measuring point with a game so far. We could use Dragon Quest Heros, but that was a quick dirty port than runs worse than the PS3 version. Which I think most can agree that the switch is far more powerful than the PS3. Theirs Snake Pass, but who knows if thats pushing either system. Leg ocity is a really good measuring point though to show how much more powerful the switch is to the wii U. Since it has a better frame rate, pretty significant improvements to the textures, and runs at 1080p compared to 720p on the Wii U.

At the end of the day, if a demanding game is 1080p 60fps on the PS4, it will probably be 720p and 30fps on the Switch.

It goes a little deeper than that, I mean it won't even be the exact same game on Switch at 720p and 30fps. There will be less effects, and more than likely a cut back as far as foliage, textures, ect. I honestly don't think we will ever get a clear indication as I don't think any third parties will ever take the take to properly port a massive AAA game to max the Switch out.
