I live in conservative gun America as well, but I think I only seen one or two guns. More guns then people here but I have seen a million more people then guns :).
As for parking lots and concerts, we drove to the street the building was on and found a parking spot right outside it xD. Will say though this reminds me of the time I was walking with my friend in his parking lot at like 10 pm, someone saw us and we payed no mind. Turns out they call the cops on us and the cops come and accuse of crimes we didn't pull, and we plainly state "Well we kind of are on our own property..." He still had the nerve to give us warnings and stuff, but whatever.
