" This Surface device will be running Windows 10 S, a new version of Windows that is focused on the education market. Windows 10 S can only run verified apps from Windows Store."

isnt that a issue?

The device is already poised to flop. They tried this with Windows rt...

There is one major difference though. Unlike Windows RT, you can upgrade Windows 10 S to full versions of Windows 10 Home or Pro (on both X86 and ARM) and install regular Win32 desktop apps (on ARM platforms Windows 10 has an emulator that makes them work).

You can read more about being able to upgrade the OS on this laptop here http://m.windowscentral.com/microsofts-new-surface-laptop-windows-10-s?utm_medium=slider&utm_campaign=navigation&utm_source=wp and about Windows 10 S here http://www.windowscentral.com/windows-10-cloud-everything-we-know-so-far .
