i think you miss the point in its design, you cant see the thing when using it, so all that matters is the feel, the design is that way to accomodate a wide range of weapon types and designs, and allowing for it to be held in different ways too, its meant for maximum flexibility not for people not using vr to look at and compare to a real gun.
