That's a competition between Horizon ZD and Uncharted 4, but I'd go with Horizon. Aloy is really the only decent character in HZD, but the story itself is phenomenal. I'm 75% of the way thru the game, and the story has absolutely just sucked me in. I'm not a huge fan of reading, but I have been reading so many of the extras just to learn more about the world and story and history. And the amount of intricate detail available--should you seek it out--is staggering. I am extremely impressed at the depth of the world GG has created. They are officially in the same league as naughty dog after this game.
