Ok I'll bite.

1. A hand-drawn fully 2D Metroid, as in a PROPER follow up to Super Metroid, in that style, not in the narrative-heavy, linear Fusion style. That game wasn't bad, but it also wasn't fully worthy of being "Metroid 4".

2. An actual Mario Kart 9, with less of a focus on gimmicks and more of a focus on great track design and racing mechanics. MK8 was really strong for the racing, I'm just saying build on that, and cut down on the "what else can the karts do besides drive" gimmicks. Also, it goes without saying, have a real, no BS, non-phoned in Battle Mode out of the box, please.

3. Pikmin 4, with Cap. Olimar back, c-stick style swarming back, multiple save files back, actual camera zoom back, and actual treasure hunting back. So basically, make a game like the first two, and I'll be thrilled, because those are two of my favorite games of all time.

4. A a real, honest to goodness Star Fox 64 sequel, with THAT style of gameplay throughout, but graphics and level design that actually push the hardware again, a fully original story, perhaps an option to play as either Star Fox OR Star Wolf in some kind of intersecting story, bring back the vehicles from SF64, maybe add a new one, but leave the silly shit from Zero behind, please.

5. For Namco to somehow magically acquire the rights to make a Soul Calibur vs. Samurai Shodown game. I've been dreaming of that forever.

6. A new Zelda, built from the ground up for Switch, pushing it's hardware to the max, carrying over the many GOOD things that BoTW did, but building on that. And perhaps having an art style that is at least somewhere between BoTW, and that TP-influenced E3 tech demo they teased everyone with (if not just straight up looking like that). Maybe go even harder on the Zelda II influences, add in some kind of light rpg system, where you gain experience and levels, etc. Go even further with the manual jumping, use it to greater enhance combat, maneuvering and puzzle possibilities, etc. I don't necessarily want a BoTW, but something just as epic, if not moreso.

7. A new Smash Bros., that goes in the opposite direction of Wii U with NO Adventure Mode, and this time makes Adv. Mode and single player content a major focus. That isn't to say they skimp on the multiplayer elements, that is after all the foundation of the game. But I personally felt Brawl was a fantastic, if not perfect game, with a TON of shit to do single player, and I thought the SSE mode was great fun. I would love to see something along those lines, but better and even more fleshed out. Sakurai's excuse for excluding such a mode this last time was one of the weakest things I've ever heard from a developer. If people don't want to be spoiled by internet videos, then DON'T watch the videos. It's really that simple.

8. Some kind of new IP, preferably original, from Retro Studios. I'd honestly like to see what they could do on their own, instead of just being the "House of Metroid and DK". I know they don't look fondly on their old Raven Blade alpha, but I remember thinking that the CONCEPT at least, looked like it could have promise. I'd love to see them do something fresh.

9. Have Nintendo and Sega colloborate on some kind of Sega/Nintendo All-Stars crossover racer. Make it more in the style of Diddy Kong Racing, I guess, and just have tracks inspired by various Nintendo and Sega franchises. Make it stand out and different enough to not "just be another Mario Kart". I'd prefer MK to focus more on kart racing like the older games, and let a Nintendo vs. Sega racer go wild with the crazy stuff. It would surely sell tons, and I can't really think of any other kind of genre where a crossover of their franchises would really work well.

10. Have Square either make a sequel to FFCC: The Crystal Bearers that actually lives up to the promise and potential of ALLOWING the player to use awesome TK abilities (And not just see cool cut-scenes of shit you can't actually do in-game), because I would find that interesting. Or else, make a Switch-exclusive, traditionally styled FF type rpg. Me personally, I'd love to see them make an epic, fully 3D (as in not blocky chibi graphics) remake of FFIV, that actually looks like the art/cut scenes, maybe with a bit of added content. It's my favorite rpg of all time, so I'm biased. Though I'd be satisfied with a 3D remake of FFVI too. But if no remakes, then it would be nice to get a game in that classic SNES rpg style, at least.

11. A 3D Mario game that actually brings things fully back to the Mushroom Kingdom, actually lets you run around in epic, sprawling representations of the kinds of lands seen in SMB3 and even World. Hell, you could throw Subcon in as a bonus Secret World, why not. But ever since SM64 first released in 1996, I have wanted a 3D Mario that actually let me run around a huge version of the SMB3 style Mushroom Kingdom. THAT is my "dream Mario game".

12. Have Sega develop a traditional style Golden Axe game, but throw in some Guardian Heroes style rpg elements and branching paths, etc. Or if not have Sega develop it, since they seem to have trouble making good games these days, at least have them publish.

I'm sure I could think of others, but those are some "dream games" I'd personally love to see, off the top of my head.
