A game being digital-only shouldn't be inmediately correlated with being indie developed or not, though. Sometimes, big companies like Ubisoft create digital-only games, such as Valiant Hearts, and sometimes, indie developers like Edmun McMillen create indie games like Binding of Isaac that find their way onto physical versions.

Only wanting physical is a respectable preference, for sure, but it isn't the bar to determine how small or big some games can be (regardless of their indie status, actually).

Yea, I have a physical bias.  I know all those scenarios happen and have discs of games that were digital first and made it to physical on Wii U.  I have bought a lot of eshop games on 3DS and a decent amount on Wii U.  I also took part in 2 of the humble bundles deals that Nintendo offered awhile back.  Having digital titles is nice and very convenient.  I just prefer having physical.
