Just a quick question.

PSVR is awesome and the most immersive experience I can recall having with a console in recent history. I'm not using mine.

I mean, since having my PSVR connected means I can't use HDR on my PS4 Pro, I've just disconnected it. Since it's not connected, sometimes I want to play it but I don't bother going through the trouble of playing with cables. Suddenly, I realized that I haven't touched mine since completing Resident Evil 7.

Am I the only one whose hardware has been gathering dust?

You don't have two HDTVs and PS4s? Granted, it's a bit of a hassle to juggle two PS4s, but when they're using the same user account, it's not so bad. The HDTV connected to the PS4 with VR could be an old HDTV since games are being played through the headset rather than viewed on screen.

The HDR/VR plug toggling sounds like something that could be fixed in a firmware update and is naturally a far more sensible solution.

I have pretty much every 7th and 8th gen console connected to the 4K TV in my gameroom. That's where the best versions of my consoles are (PS4 Pro and XBO S--until Scorpio comes out). The living room has the original Xbox One and PS4 and a 1080p tv.

I prefer playing in the game room and, at the same time, the reason I bought a Pro at all was because of the PSVR (and the reason I bought a 4k tv was because of the Pro!). I can't go back to using it on the regular console.

Quite the conundrum.
