Personally, I don't need to see a live conference to get what I want, which is new games and more info on games already announced. I have social media, I can access information in a variety of sites, including this one. I can check the pulse of some of the information through all of these sites. Heck, I can even watch reactions of trailers and such on YouTube. Some of my favorite reactions don't necessarily involve a live crowd reaction. Just seeing a Youtuber crying over Zelda BoTW's story trailer at the Switch presentation was awesome as I could see how much the game and the series means to them. So not everything has to be done with a live crowd, especially nowadays.
