About 13 years ago I had an online GF with yahoo messenger as well. She sent the prettiest photo that I liked. Unlike you, I do think this one was actually a girl albeit an unattractive one at that. We met on IMVU when it launched and was like 1 of 10 people that I talked to. Anyways, I had to break up with her after millions of lies. Was basically a chronic liar, and ofc didn't get a real picture. She made me lose 2 months of my summer that I could have spent addicted to WoW! One positive thing from the IMVU experience was a dude telling me about this awesome band called System of a Down, probably won't ever forget about that :).
