I adopted him from a shelter near where my parents lived at the time, where he was surrounded by other cats and dogs, so that might be part of it. Though he was still a kitten back then, so it might be more that he developed habits from being on his own.
Supposedly the shelter found him covered in gasoline. I try to convince myself it was because he was rolling around under cars, but I've also heard stories of asshole rednecks that do horrible things to animals back there...so who knows...
Cat owners unite! I remember I used to consider making a General Pet Owner thread, but I'm a bit lazy to maintain a mega thread...and I don't like making threads to begin with. I'm totally cool with someone else doing it though.
