It's not "collective guilt" as you put it. Simply put, there's nothing to care about. Asians will come over, breed with someone and their kids will speak English just as fluently as you or me. They'll have the same interests and be pretty much exactly the same as any white person save for their skin colour. The same thing happens with every race. They come over, breed, and adapt to the culture.
The only people panicking about this are the white nationalists.
The thing I fear is isolationism taking over. Isolate people and they start thinking everyone's out to get them. The US could use more immigrants, but they're too bloody terrified of everything.
