I also wonder if FFVII:R is being considered as a new "mainline" FF, and therefore pushing FFXVI even further. For FFXVI, I wish it is in a medieval/industrial setting, like FFIX. We had enough modern/futuristic settings, IMO. As for the battle system, I really liked FFXV's. I would like them to use it again, but with improvements. Witcher 3 quests and story progression system + FFIX setting + FFXV combat (+ improvements) would be my dream game. |
