The general attitude of Western AAA publisher has been "let's ignore Switch" and that's not going to change within three months. But even if it happened quicker, it's hard to imagine that they can go from nothing to working games in time for this year's holiday season. Your chances to be right would be a lot better if you postponed your expectation to next year and reduced the amount from "nearly every" to "some." The presence or absence of these yearly releases is also not going to have a big impact on Switch's sales potential. They don't sell hardware. |
You are probably right that we may only get FIFA this year. However, I thought all of EA sports titles used the same engine and that would mean putting Madden on Switch after they already got the engine working for FIFA would be relatively small effort. (could be wrong on the engine as I didn't research it) As for COD, Activision has a history of putting their games on everything including Wii and initially WiiU. I would see them pushing to have this game on Switch if it was in any way possible.
These games do sell hardware to those mass consumers who only play these games.
