Right off the bat, I prefer the dual analog stick placement of the Dual Shock 4 over the staggered design. But do you think you'll ever see a day when Sony employs the staggered design for a future Dual Shock controller? Since the Dreamcast, the only other time I've seen a non-staggered dual analog stick placement from a major console developer was on Wii classic controllers. Now, even Nintendo is using a staggered design for the Joycon. It ultimately boils down to the player's preference, but is Sony sticking to their dual analog stick design for consistancy or is this what most gamers really want?

What about the WiiU gamepad and the Pro controller?

i was just looking this up since Nintendo have gone back and forth. And what I found kind of odd is that the WiiU can fuction as a portable, but the WiiU and 3DS sticks are in different positions. And when I said Wii classic, I meant the Pro.
