think about it like this.
you are the best fireman in the city, so much so that there are hardly ever fires anymore, and even when there are it is something small that could easily be put out with a fire extinguisher. now as a fireman, it is your job to make sure there are no fires, but now that there arent any, your job feels unnecessary. of course you dont want somebody's house to burn down, but if it doesnt then whats the point of you being around.
and that is essentially modern day feminism. there arent exactly any major gender separations in the world today, so feminism has basically become obsolete. feminists may hate gender inequalities, but what they really hate more is being ignored. so now they just find any vantage point they can to spark controversy.
so now I'll just bring this analogy to a full circle. a feminist who sparks controversy just so they can remain relevant is the same as a fireman who sets people's houses on fire in order to keep his job.
