But you do understand that "looking for signals" is not what consent is defined as right?
"Signals" and body language can be misinterpretted often that is why consent is defined as an enthusiastic verbal response
Suppose the woman in question is just being friendly because she feels she's expected to and you misinterpret that and she considers you kissing her to be offensive?
