Really, what's the point of hyperbole and exaggerations like the title and the first line of the OP?  It gives the impression that you aren't looking for a discussion, just a mud-slinging match.

If the question is really, "why do some people look with disfavor upon 'feminism'," then you're going to get a ton of different answers.  It would be the height of ignorance to attempt to paint all objections or disagreements with one brush, especially considering that feminism itself is so many different things that even feminists disagree.

Here is an example of the kind of conceited generalizations to avoid if you want to have a real discussion:

Goodnightmoon said:
Because they are trying to destroy our white male privilegy and we are afraid as fuck of that, what if they start treating men as men has been treating women for ages? Terrorific

Now, if you want to get to the core of the legitimate complaints about feminism then try reading this:  WHY I NO LONGER IDENTIFY AS A FEMINIST

Liberal feminist aims gradually shifted from the position:

“Everyone deserves human rights and equality, and feminism focuses on achieving them for women.”

to

“Individuals and groups of all sexes, races, religions and sexualities have their own truths, norms and values. All truths, cultural norms and moral values are equal. Those of white, Western, heterosexual men have unfairly dominated in the past so now they and all their ideas must be set aside for marginalized groups.”

That's just one part of it but I think it's the crux of the problem a lot of guys have with it.

Personally, I hate the hypocrisy I see with some "feminists," which makes me not want to stand under that label.  They do not seem to desire equality but rather to use that as an excuse to rewrite society that puts them first.
