After playing both games, I have to say that in my opinion, Horizon is a much better game in everything but graphics. The procedurally generated graphics of Horizon look generic, even in 4K. Zelda sometimes looks foggy and ugly but is crafted with much more love, care and attention to detail.
I am a huge Zelda fan but I do not like BotW that much, mainly because it lacks story, music, heart pieces and item / dungeon diversity and I absolutely hate the bad usability of the menu and cooking system.
Horizon really surprised me, it has a real story on the AAA level of Xenoblade Chronicles. I will remember playing Horizon forever, but I won't remember a single moment of my boring 100+ hours with Zelda.
