The two aren't always comparable. While many are woefully uninformed on how often they give away their mobile privacy (and would likley appreciate being informed on it), i expect most heavy PC users consider a desktop environment to be far more personal. Speaking anecdotally, if my PC is my digital home, then my mobile is my digital car. If i found out there were cameras in my car, i'd be angry. If i found out they had them in my house, i'd be outright horrified.
