To be fair Halo Wars 2's online population has also imploded. I haven't played it since about a week after launch because waiting for a match was taking way to long. If I could get one at all.

I would certainly expect a big decline post launch week. That's all games.

Either way I stand by my point. Launching Halo Wars DE and Halo Wars 2 at the same time was a terrible move.

Halo Wars on 360 stayed active for a bunch of years, might still be? If it has any chance of getting an audience today it'll probably be on Steam.

I wasn't arguing with your point. :P

Halo Wars on 360 died a long time ago. Just before they closed their forums.
I think I got to play one of the DLC maps once in Multiplayer? Not good value for money. Haha.
Microsoft didn't really foster a community around the game anyway, so that didn't help things much.

For the record, the 360 version is of Halo Wars is surprisingly still active online.

I booted it up via X1 BC and it has about 500 people right now.

Sadly not enough population for something like Reinforcements. (And population in my Region will still be non-existent.)

I'm hoping to see how Steam plays out before I buy a 4th copy of the game.
