Although I agree on some points, I haven't played a game with in-game advertising that has annoyed me yet.
I don't mind the ads on Tony Hawk or other sports games like Football or Baseball. What I think is that in-game advertising can be done well if it doesn't interfere with the game experience, if it is too intrusive then we may have a problem. I'm guessing the majority of VGChartz members live in capitalist countries so you can understand why this form of publicity can't be stopped, all we can wish for is that it's well done.
