1. PC's have physical releases. If by physical release you mean a code in a box or a steam.exe file on a disc. 2. Only for shooters. For fighting action games a controller is far superior. That's the beaty of a PC though. You can play each game with the tool that fits the best, you are not bound to one controller for all games. Shooters by far the biggest genre for online gaming on console, though this would also apply to Moba's and other MMO's that are launching on consoles now. 3. PC-games are usually scalable in effects. And a PC with similar specs to a console isn't more expensive. Yes, the first year or so a new console may have a price-advantage, but soon the components used in a console go down in price. You forget that you have to stick to the same hardware for years with a console. So a year after console release you should be able to build a PC with similar specs for similar price or lower. Eh? If anything the Price advantage is bigger now then it was at launch, I gave two price examples in my post. Yes a PC with similair specs to a ps4/xbo is more expensive. If you want to say otherwise then provei t. 4. There are already applications that work as a frontend for gaming and some other stuff and are easily usable with a gamepad. Difference is you can do literally everything on the ps4 with a gamepad, there's never going to be a frontend on Windows 10 that can do literally everything with a gamepad. 5. You list it as disadvantage, but it serves also as an advantage. The game you want isn't on the PlaystationStore? Bad luck on PS, no problem on PC. And as long as everything you want is in the same place, just use that one store. No I list it as both, it's literally the first line. "Does have many advantages over a closed system." 6. Games are very scalable. As long as your PC isn't ten years old, most games should run. With worse graphic though. Not true, we're getting games that need at least 8gb of ram to boot. The Call of Duty Ghosts fiasco comes to mind. 7. Sony could bring their trophy-system with them to PC. Problem solved. Problem Solved? Every developer on PC is suddenly going to use Trophies? They bring it to PC and Sony games would be the only ones using it. |
