I've spent most of my life as one heck of an introvert and probably still am, but nearly all anxieties regarding "extrovert" activities are largely gone... Last year I had a few rather serious health issues involving surgery and an undiagnosed nervous system issue that had me seriously contemplating mortality and the like, so now that I've recovered I just find that I enjoy typical "extrovert" activities now.

I think most of us have a little of both though. I really don't like to declare myself "optimistic" or "pessimistic", as I really try to determine what is most likely via objective reasoning and just go with that while not stressing the possible negative outcome. I suppose that has me leaning more "optimistic", but I'd prefer "objectively apathetic" haha
