How can America compete with China and other rival counties in the future?

What i mean is every Country has its flaws and The USA is still the greatest(all around aspects)  Country in the world today, so they don't need catching up to the other powerful countries who are just playing second fiddle tothem.

But it isn't for all the reasons I laid out.
