Here's a crazy thought. What if they decide that, since the modern Battlefront is too demanding, to port the original Battlefront II? Something like Classic Battlefront II HD? It had LAN play, so it could work well on local multiplayer with two or more Switches, and it wouldn't need that much efford to bring to the console, even with a decent HD upgrades.

Who's in control of the old LucasArts Star Wars games, Disney or EA?

The optics of doing that would be undesirable for the Switch brand. I think they'd be better of with nothing than they would be in releasing a 12 year old remaster in the wake of the current game.
