I kinda agree with GTA IV, it was a blast the first couple times I played it but I actually put it down for a week or so and didn't even finish it until this week!

Where I will say the game did a good job was stories and characters, it all tied in and characters weren't just there for over the top comic releif.

But I hear ya, I tried to go back to the game a couple days ago, you know to just screw around and Liberty City? Lost interest in 15 mins. It just didn't have that same feeling for me as the other ones.

San Andreas still holds the record as best in series for me, parachuting, flying jets, vegas, bike rides, mayhem, dates, etc.

That's the game that should've got all the gushing scores GTA IV got. GTA IV not a horrible game, but after the hype build up I was expecting a little something more.

I could agree with that. While my view on GTAIV is a little skewed because I'm not a giant fan of the series, my time with GTAIV (which just ended last week when I took it back to Blockbuster) was a little 'meh'. I thought the story was interesting and it kept me playing to find out how everything goes down, but that was pretty much the only thing keeping me from completely hating the chore of getting around the city (apart from finding comedy in performances, television, the radio, ect). 25ish hours and the last mission of the story and I had to ask myself "Was that really a '10'?"
